Pennsylvania Nurse Peer Assistance Program (PNAP)
There are options available to you through the Professional Health Monitoring Program. Specifically designed for nurses, the Pennsylvania Nurse Peer Assistance Program (PNAP) was created to assist with peer-to-peer services.
The Department of State has a contract with the PNAP, a nonprofit organization, to provide peer assistance services to commonwealth-licensed nurses. This new contract establishes the parameters by which the PNAP and the PHMP will coordinate their activities to assist impaired nurses referred to the Disciplinary Monitoring Unit of the PHMP.
Since the PNAP contract was signed, we have assisted several nurses with enrollment in the program. We will work closely with the PNAP on your behalf.
